Nuevo Formato de Certificado Fitosanitario de Perú (New Peruvian phytosanitary certificate format)

The notified document is submitted by Peru, in order to avoid any disruption to trade, to notify its trading partners that all phytosanitary certificates will be printed on plain white paper in black and white.
The new certificate will be implemented from 10 March 2022 onwards. During the transition period, both the new certificate and the current certificate may be submitted for a period of time in consideration of the validity of the certificates issued before 10 March 2022.
SENASA emphasizes that these phytosanitary certificates comply with the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures and maintain the following security features:
a) The logo of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation in the top left;
b) The SENASA logo in the top right;
c) A single quick response (QR) code in the top right below the SENASA logo allowing online validation.
