Resolución Exenta No. 1242/2022, Deja sin efecto, provisionalmente, la Resolución exenta No. 345 de 2006 y establece la suspensión emergencial y provisoria de la importación de frutos frescos de mangos (Mangifera Indica) desde Perú (Exempt Resolution No. 1242/2022, provisionally repealing Exempt Resolution No. 345 of 2006 and establishing the emergency and provisional suspension of imports of fresh mangoes (Mangifera indica) from Peru)

The notified measure establishes the following:
- The emergency and provisional suspension of the entry into Chile of fresh mangoes (Mangifera indica) produced in and coming from Peru until the Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) conducts an on-site audit of the process of exporting these fruits from Peru to Chile, updates the Pest Risk Analysis for fresh mangoes (Mangifera indica) coming from Peru and establishes, together with the National Plant Protection Organization of Peru, the phytosanitary measures needed to prevent the entry of quarantine pests;
- Shipments of fresh mangoes (Mangifera indica) coming from Peru that have a certification dated prior to the publication in the Official Journal of Exempt Resolution No. 1242/2022 shall be exempt from this suspension.
