Established Maximum Residue Limit: Bromoxynil

The proposed maximum residue limit (PMRL) document for bromoxynil notified in G/SPS/N/CAN/1409 (dated 28 July 2021) was adopted 15 March 2022. The proposed MRL was established via entry into the Maximum Residue Limits Database and is provided directly below:MRL (ppm)1       Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity0.05                 Annual canarygrass grain1 ppm = parts per millionIn addition, this addendum clarifies the maximum residue limit proposed for annual canarygrass seeds cited in notification G/SPS/N/CAN/1409. The notification proposed a 0.05 ppm maximum residue limit for annual canarygrass seeds. Health Canada's MRL Database has recently been updated (https://pr-rp.hc-sc.gc.ca/mrl-lrm/index-eng.php), and the English crop descriptor for annual canarygrass seeds has been revised to annual canarygrass grain.
