Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has issued the Administrative Order of Ref. No. 11981 dated 14 December 2020 (29/04/1442 AH) entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Mazowieckie in Poland". On 16 February 2021, SFDA has issued the Administrative Order Ref. No. 18714, entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Łódzkie and Wielkopolskie in Poland". On 19 April 2021, SFDA has subsequently issued the Administrative Order Ref. No. 25181, entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Malopolskie in Poland".On 20 April 2022, SFDA has issued the Administrative Order of Ref. No. 23682 (19/9/1443 AH) entitled "Lifting the temporary ban on importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Mazowieckie in Poland".Based on OIE reports, Mazowieckie in Poland is free from HPAI. In compliance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Chapter 10.4, the risk of importing poultry meat, eggs and their products from Mazowieckie in Poland is negligible.
