Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has issued the Administrative Order of Ref. No. 73484 dated 13 August 2018 entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products" originating from Rostovskaya Oblast, Russian Federation. On 26 July 2022, SFDA has issued the Administrative Order of Ref. No. 30499 entitled "Lifting the temporary ban on importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Rostovskaya Oblast in the Russian Federation".Based on OIE reports, Rostovskaya Oblast in the Russian Federation is free from HPAI. In compliance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Chapter 10.4, the risk of importing poultry meat, eggs and their products from Rostovskaya Oblast in the Russian Federation is negligible.
