National Food Safety Standard of the P.R.C.: Food additive Advantame

This standard applies to food additive Advantame (N-[N-[3-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl) propyl]-L-α-aspartyl]-L-phenylalanine 1-methyl ester) which is obtained the chemical reaction of 3-hydroxy-4-methoxycinnamaldehyde and aspartame. It specifies the technical requirements and test methods for Advantame.
