The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) issued the Notice of Administrative Order No. 30229 dated 23 July 2022 entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Wielkopolskie in Poland". The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has subsequently issued the Notice Administrative Order No. 7760 dated 25 October 2022, lifting the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Wielkopolskie in Poland based on the WOAH Report dated 19 September 2022, indicating that Wielkopolskie in Poland is free of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (HPAI).
