This Draft East African Standard specifies the certification requirements for pre-basic, basic and certified seed cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz). It includes requirements for eligible varieties, application for certification, field requirements, field inspection, stem harvesting and cutting, packaging and labelling. This Standard does not apply for tissue culture plantlets”.Note: This Draft East African Standard was also notified to the TBT Committee.
