Description
The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department of the Government of Hong Kong, China temporarily suspended the import of hamsters for commercial purposes on 18 January 2022 as a precautionary measure out of the risks associated with COVID-19. The Department has subsequently lifted the import ban on 13 January 2023 after reviewing the risks in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.
