This Draft East African Standard specifies the requirements, sampling and test methods for natural cinnamon extract obtained from the bark of cinnamon species namely Cinnamomum verumCinnamomum zeylanicum or Cinnamon aromaticum for use for use as a flavouring agent in food products.Note: This Draft East African Standard was also notified to the TBT Committee.
