RESOLUCIÓN No. 00001894 (3 de marzo de 2023), "Por la cual se establecen medidas sanitarias temporales por la presencia de Influencia Aviar de Alta Patogenicidad (IAAP) en Perú y Ecuador" (Resolution No. 00001894 (3 March 2023), establishing temporary sanitary measures owing to the presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in Peru and Ecuador).

The notified Resolution prohibits the entry into Colombia of birds and risk products from Ecuador and Peru that pose a risk of transmitting avian influenza, for a period of six months from the date of entry into force of this Resolution. PARAGRAPH. The Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), during the time provided for in this article, will assess the risk of the disease being introduced into Colombia by means of a review of updated official information submitted by Ecuador and Peru on the status of the disease and in situ verification by ICA officials and/or staff. ARTICLE 2 - SUSPENSION OF APPLICATIONS. Applications submitted to the ICA for the import of birds and risk products from Ecuador and Peru that pose a risk of transmitting avian influenza shall be suspended for the period provided for in Article 1 of this Resolution.
