Suspende la importación a Chile de aves silvestres o de recreación, aves en calidad de mascotas, carnes de aves fresca y huevos para consumo desde Argentina por presencia de influenza aviar altamente patógena (Suspension of the importation into Chile of wild or ornamental and exhibition birds, pet birds, fresh poultry meat and eggs for consumption from Argentina due to the presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza).

Considering that the Argentine Republic has notified SAG and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) to confirm cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in poultry, imports into Chile from Argentina of wild or ornamental and exhibition birds and pet birds, meat of poultry, fresh, chilled or frozen, eggs for human consumption, and meat products processed without heat treatment established by SAG Resolution No. 3.212 of 2022, are suspended due to this change in status with regard to highly pathogenic avian influenza in Argentina which makes it impossible to comply with Chile's sanitary requirements for the importation of birds and products of avian origin.
