The DLD order on temporary suspension of importation of cattle and buffalo and their products and their products under Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) from Myanmar

According to the announcement of the Government Gazette dated 1 March 2023, the suspension for importation of Foot and Mouth Disease in Myanmar since 1 March 2023 has expired on 29 May 2022. However, the WOAH has reported a continued outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease in the area of Myanmar. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Foot and Mouth Disease into the country. By the virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558, the importation of cattle and buffalo and their products under Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) from Myanmar is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days since 30 May 2023 onward in the Thai Royal Gazette.
