The notified draft phytosanitary requirements governing the importation into Mexico of polished rice (Oryza sativa) for consumption and/or industrial use, originating in and coming from Ecuador, were determined by SENASICA as a result of a pest risk analysis, pursuant to the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS Agreement).
