The Nicaraguan Mandatory Technical Standard (NTON)/Central American Technical Regulation (RTCA) establishes the technical specifications to be met by yoghurt, conforming to the definition set out in Article 4.1 thereof. The Regulation provides elements for the classification and composition of yoghurt. It applies to yoghurt for direct human consumption or further processing in the territory of the States Parties. Note 1: The word yoghurt is used in this document, but may also be referred to as "yogurt", "yogurth", "yoghurt" or "yogourt".
