2019 - 2020 Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) Seasonal Measures

This notice builds on G/SPS/N/AUS/479 relating to seasonal measures for Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB).In response to the spread of brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) throughout Europe and North America, the Australian Government has added one more country to be targeted for seasonal measures for the 2023-24 season to manage the risk of BMSB arriving in Australia.Target risk countries have increased from 38 in the 2021-22 season to 39 in the 2023-24 season.
