Australian import conditions for whole egg, egg yolk, and egg white powder - Final report

Australia has conducted a policy review of the Australian import conditions for whole egg, egg yolk, and egg white powder. The report recommends new heat treatment requirements which are lower than existing heat treatment requirements and are closer to standard industry practices be added as an alternative option to existing heat treatment requirements. The new conditions ensure continuity of trade and manage the biosecurity risks to meet Australia's appropriate level of protection.
