The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has launched a public consultation seeking feedback on proposed minor revisions to the directive D- 99-06: Policy on the Issuance of Phytosanitary Certificates for Export and for Re-export - Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Proposed revisions include procedural changes for the application and issuance of phytosanitary certificates using the My CFIA online service portal, to clarify the issuance date on the phytosanitary certificate, and general administrative updates where appropriate.Once finalized, directive D-99-06 will be posted on the CFIA’s website.
