The notified text establishes the maximum permitted levels of chemical contaminants (including non-veterinary agricultural pesticides, toxins (except microbial toxins), heavy metals) of the National Animal Health Service, as set out in the regulations of the following agencies and in the order listed below: 1. Domestic regulations; 2. Codex Alimentarius; 3. United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA); 4. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); 5. European Union (EU).
