The notified Resolution seeks to: • Establish phytosanitary measures for the importation of plants of the Musaceae family for planting from any country. • Establish phytosanitary measures for the importation of shipments of growing media, free of soil, originating in countries where Foc TR4 is present. • Establish phytosanitary measures for the importation of growing media accompanying plants for planting, free of soil, originating in countries where Foc TR4 is present. • Establish phytosanitary measures to mitigate the risk of passengers who have visited infested foreign Musaceae plantations entering the country and introducing Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense tropical race 4 (Foc TR4) in footwear, clothing or work tools. • Establish temporary phytosanitary measures for containers and means of transport carrying the fruit of plants hosting Foc TR4 from countries where Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense tropical race 4 (Foc TR4) is present.
