Proposed Maximum Residue Limit: Picarbutrazox (PMRL2024-06)

The objective of the notified document PMRL2024-06 is to consult on the listed maximum residue limits (MRLs) for picarbutrazox that have been proposed by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).MRL (ppm)1 Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity 0.01     Dried shelled pea and bean (except soybean) (crop subgroup 6C); cereal grains (crop group 15)2; rapeseeds (revised) (crop subgroup 20A)1 ppm = parts per million2 The MRL is proposed to replace the currently established MRLs of 0.01 ppm in/on field corn, popcorn grain, and sweet corn kernels plus cob with husks removed with a single crop group 15 MRL at the same value.
