The DLD order on temporary suspension of the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Australia to prevent the spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Subtype H7N9)

The WOAH reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in poultry farm of Australia. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza disease (HPAI) into the country. By virtue of the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Australia is temporarily suspended for a period of 90 days after date of publication in the Thai Royal Gazette.
