Commission Implementing Regulation 2024/2179  (EU) of 2 September 2024 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1452 as regards the recommended maximum content of 4-hydroxy– 2,5-dimethylfuran-3(2H)-one for cats and dogs (Text with EEA relevance)

The substance covered by the Act was authorized as feed additive for cats and dogs by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1452 for a 10-year period. Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2179 amends the terms of the current authorization by increasing the maximum recommended content from 5 mg/kg to 25 mg/kg complete feed for dogs and from 5 mg/kg to 18 mg/kg complete feed for cats.
