The notified text immediately suspends, on a temporary basis, imports of the risk products specified in Chapter 8.8 ("Infection with foot and mouth disease virus") of the WOAH Terrestrial Animal Health Code from the affected trading partner.G/SPS/N/CRI/313- 2 - It seeks to prevent the entry of goods that risk introducing foot and mouth disease.Excluded are safe commodities specified under Article 8.8.2 of the WOAH Terrestrial Animal Health Code or others subject to measures that demonstrate mitigation of the risk.
