In order to protect animal health, the notified text immediately suspends, on a temporary basis, imports of goods specified in Chapter 8.8 "Infection with Foot and Mouth Disease Virus" of the WOAH Terrestrial Animal Health Code, which have been produced or obtained 28 calendar days prior to the beginning of the notified event and which come from establishments that have received products from Hungary. It seeks to prevent the entry of foot and mouth disease into Costa Rica.Goods which cannot be subject to risk mitigation measures at origin shall be restricted in accordance with Chapter 8.8 of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code.
