Proposed Revision of the “Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control”

For the purpose of protecting consumer safety, this amendment requires that imported apparatus, containers and packages made from renewable raw materials (referring to the raw materials treated for the reuse of apparatus, containers, and packages that have already been used) obtain recognition from the Minister of Food and Drug Safety for the raw materials used according to Article 9-2 of the Food Sanitation Act.
