The notified document amends Resolution No. 655 of 2024 establishing requirements for the importation into Chile of plant material as in vitro tissue cultures, as follows: Genera/species not previously covered under the Resolution, but which have a history of trade or have been requested by users after its issuance: Aloe spp., Athyrium spp., Bergenia spp., Eustoma spp., Kniphofia spp., Lavandula spp., Liriope muscari, Monstera spp., Musa spp., Pelargonium spp., Peperomia spp., Prunus munsoniana, Salvia spp., Sambucus nigra and Vanda spp. Article No. 20 has been added: "The Phytosanitary Certificate must explicitly state the scientific name of the species being exported to Chile when it belongs to a genus that includes species subject to different import requirements."Further details can be found in the document attached to this notification.
