New GB MRLs for acetamiprid amending the GB MRL Statutory Register

Acetamiprid is an approved active substance in Great Britain. The Health and Safety Executive received an application to set new MRLs for sweet/bell peppers. Following assessment, new MRLs have been introduced to support/accommodate a new authorisation of a plant protection product in Great Britain.  The supporting Evaluation Report/Reasoned Opinion is available here:  The evaluation of new MRLs for acetamiprid in or on sweet peppers bell peppers.pdfThe residue levels arising in food from the notified uses result in consumer exposures below the toxicological reference values and therefore harmful effects on human health are not expected. As these residue levels exceed the current MRLs, new MRLs are being adopted.
