New GB MRLs for cycloxydim amending the GB MRL Statutory Register

Cycloxydim is an approved active substance in Great Britain. The Health and Safety Executive received an application to set new Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) for  Potatoes, Beetroot, Horseradish, Parsnip, Parsley roots/ Hamburg roots parsley, Radishes, Salsifies, Swedes/rutabagas, Turnips, Flowering brassica, Head brassica, Kohlrabies, Lamb’s lettuce/corn salads, Roman rocket/rucola, Red mustards, Baby leaf crops, Purslanes, Chards/beet leaves, Herbs and edible flowers, except Celery leaves, Beans without pods, Lentils (fresh), and in various products of animal origin.Following the assessment, new MRLs have been introduced to set Import Tolerances.The Evaluation Report/ Reasoned Opinion supporting the new MRL[s] is available at the following link:  The evaluation of new MRLs for cycloxydim in or on various commoditiesThe residue levels arising in food from the notified uses result in consumer exposures below the toxicological reference values and therefore harmful effects on human health are not expected. Since these levels are above current MRLs, new MRLs are being adopted.
