Proposed revisions of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Plant Protection Act, relevant notifications and detailed rules

We are pleased to inform that the revisions of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Plant Protection Act and non-quarantine pest list (notified by G/SPS/N/JPN/1327 on 18 March 2025) were published in the Japanese Official Gazette on 23 June 2025.These revisions and requirements are to enter into force on 23 December 2025, except for deletion of a country from Item 37 of Annexed Table 2-2 and revision of the non-quarantine pest list, both of which are to enter into force on 24 June 2025.
