Administrative Measures of Inspection, Quarantine and Supervision on Entry Aquatic

This Administrative Measure is a revision to Decree No.44 of AQSIQ. It stipulates requirements on inspection, quarantine and supervision of entry aquatic. The purpose of this administrative measure is to implement the risk supervision of inspection and quarantine on entry aquatic and implement classified and credit supervision on enterprises based on risk analysis. It will establish quarantine access system to conduct risk analysis and safety and health control system evaluation for the first import and also to review the traditional trade, the access list will be released by AQSIQ; It will establish traceability system, overseas aquaculture and packaging enterprises will be requested to be registered, Chinese importers will be requested to be registered and to establish business records; It will also establish safety supervision system based on official monitoring plan to ensure the safety of the entry aquatic.
