Ministerial Decision No. 240958 dated 4/6/1437H (13 March 2016), entitled "Temporary ban of importation of live honeybees - originated from State of Sao Paulo in the Federal Republic of Brazil"

Following the (OIE) report, No. 05, Vol. 29 dated 24 February 2016, which indicates that small hive beetle infestation - Aethine tumida outbreak has occurred in the State of Sao Paulo in Brazil, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of small hive beetle infestation - Aethine tumida into the country. Therefore, the import of live honeybees from the State of Sao Paulo in Brazil to the Kingdom Saudi Arabia is suspended.
