Proposed amendments of Eligible Countries/Regions for Livestock Products import and Import Sanitation Requirements

The proposed amendments seek to:
- Prescribe general sanitary requirements to comply with Korean standards of processing, law materials, hazard control, labelling for export livestock products to the Republic of Korea;
- Specify mandatory information stated in sanitary or health certificates for livestock products;
- Prescribe responsibilities of exporting country including reporting safety accidents of livestock products and supervising foreign establishments; and
- Provide the list of eligible livestock products to export to the Republic of Korea.
