Description
Ministerial Decree No. 256/2016 gives producers and importers a six-month transitional period to comply with Egyptian standard ES No. 49 2/2016 "Olive Oils and Olive Pomace Oils". This decree mandates that producers and importers must comply with the requirements prescribed in the Egyptian standard ES 49-2/2016 "Olive Oils and Olive Pomace Oils" which complies with CODEX STAN 33-1981, adopted in 1981 - Revision: 1989, 2003, Amendment: 2009, 2013, 2015 for Olive Oils And Olive Pomace Oils.
Egyptian standard ES No. 49-2/2016 supersedes ES No. 49-2/2005 that has already been mandated since 2005 by the Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005.
