The draft Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine “On Amendments to the List of food products of non-animal origin and feedstuffs of non-animal origin, the consignments of which are subject to enhanced state control when imported (sent) into the customs territory of Ukraine”

The draft Order proposes to amend the List of food products of non-animal origin and feedstuffs of non-animal origin, the consignments of which are subject to enhanced state control when imported (sent) into the customs territory of Ukraine, as approved by the  Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine No. 158 of 26 March 2018 (as amended), by setting it out in a new version.The previous version of the List was notified in document G/SPS/N/UKR/231. The updated List is based on risks and other factors associated with types of food products and feedstuffs, importation history of the relevant consignments into Ukraine, control measures implemented by the food and/or feed business operator importing such products into Ukraine and guarantees provided by the competent authority of the exporting country (country of origin).The draft Order has also been developed taking into account Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1793 of 22 October 2019 on the temporary increase of official controls and emergency measures governing the entry into the Union of certain goods from certain third countries, implementing Regulations (EU) 2017/625 and (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Commission Regulations (EC) No 669/2009, (EU) No 884/2014, (EU) 2015/175, (EU) 2017/186 and (EU) 2018/1660 (entered into force on 8 January 2025).
