Import restriction measure of whole plants of Anubias spp

Add of prohibited host (parts) and prohibited area
The Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (QIA), Ministry for Agriculture, Food and Rural Affair (MAFRA) of the Republic of Korea, has added the prohibited area and prohibited parts of a host plant of Radopholus similis, one of the prohibited quarantine pest of the Republic of Korea, which is based on the detection records of R. similis from imported nursery stocks of Anubias spp.
The import of whole plants of Anubias spp.* from the regions specified as below will be prohibited from the consignment with phytosanitary certificate, which is shipped on and after 26 September 2016.
* fresh underground part of all the regulated host plants already has been prohibited.

- North America: Canada, Mexico, United States
- Central America: All countries
- South America: All countries
- Africa: All countries
- Asia and Near East: Brunei, China (restricted areas: Guangdong, Guangzhou, Maoming and Shenzhen), India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Yemen, Viet Nam**
- Europe: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia
- Oceania and the Pacific: Australia (except Tasmania), Fiji, Guam, Hawaiian Islands, Micronesia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Polynesia, Solomon Islands
