Description
The notified Resolution establishes the mandatory phytosanitary requirements governing the importation from Spain of botanical barley (Hordeum vulgare) seed for sowing for fodder purposes. Shipments require an official phytosanitary certificate issued by the country of origin, which indicates, in the section for additional declarations, that they are free from Trogoderma granarium. The certificate must also indicate, in the section on treatment, that the shipment has been fumigated with methyl bromide or phosphine, or that it has undergone another similar treatment.
