Regarding the Amendment of the Regulation on Live Animals and Products subject to Veterinary Controls at Entry into the Country (G/SPS/N/TUR/17)

This Regulation is based on the Law on Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed (Law No: 5996 notified with G/SPS/N/TUR/9) and designates live animals and products that are subject to veterinary controls at border inspection points at entry into the territory of the Republic of Turkey. The Annex I of this Regulation includes the list of animals and animal products - in accordance with their taxonomy- that are subject to veterinary controls at border inspection posts. The Annex II of this Regulation includes the list of composite products and food stuffs - in accordance with their taxonomy- that are not subject to veterinary controls at border inspection posts. The Amendment is related to revision of the lists Annex I and Annex II, in line with the EU Legislation.
