Notification of revision of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Plant Protection Act and relevant notifications; Correction

This notice is issued to correct "the Annexed Table 2-2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Plant Protection Act (List of the plants subject to Specific Phytosanitary Measures to be carried out in Exporting Countries)", which is hyperlinked in item 4 of the notification G/SPS/N/JPN/438/Add.1 dated 24 May 2016. The corrections are as follows:
1) The requirements of the following pests are corrected as described in 2).
Bactericera cockerelli (Item No. 6 of the Annexed Table 2-2 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Plant Protection Act), Bactericera nigricornis (No. 7), Bactericera trigonica (No. 8), Circulifer tenellus (No. 9), Diabrotica undecimpunctata (No. 10), Naupactus leucoloma (No. 11), Otiorhynchus ovatus (No.12), Trioza apicalis (No. 15) and Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum (No. 20(1))
2) The entire second sentence is deleted. Accordingly, "(i) and (ii)" of the first sentence and "AND (ii)" of the third sentence are deleted.
