Directorial Resolution No. 001-2017-MINAGRI-SENASA-DSA

Point 8 of the notification G/SPS/N/PER/683, corresponding to Directorial Resolution No. 001-2017-MINAGRI-SENASA-DSA, should read as follows: 8.Nature of the urgent problem(s) and reason for urgent action: Chile's Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) notified the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) of a case of low pathogenic avian influenza in poultry (turkeys). Directorial Resolution No. 001-2017-MINAGRI-SENASA-DSA recommends suspending for one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days the importation from Chile into Peru of live birds, fertile eggs, specific-pathogen-free (SPF) eggs, poultry meat and other products capable of transmitting or carrying the avian influenza virus. The period of suspension may be reduced or extended in accordance with the information received on the status of the disease.
