Established Maximum Residue Limit: Sulfentrazone

The proposed maximum residue limit (PMRL) document for sulfentrazone notified in G/SPS/N/CAN/1094 (dated 7 March 2017) was adopted 1 June 2017. The proposed MRLs were established via entry into the Maximum Residue Limits Database and are provided directly below:MRL (ppm)       Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity0.4                 Brassica, leafy greens (crop subgroup 4-13B)0.2                 Brassica, head and stem vegetable (crop group 5-13)20.15               Fruiting vegetables (crop group 8-09); Berries and small fruits (crop group 13-07); tree nuts (crop group 14-11); apples, mustard seeds (condiment type), mustard seeds (oilseed type), succulent shelled broad beans1 ppm = parts per million2 Cabbage is excluded from this MRL action as a 0.2 ppm MRL is already established for this commodity.MRLs are established for each commodity included in the listed crop groupings in accordance with the Residue Chemistry Crop Groups webpage (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/pest/part/protect-proteger/food-nourriture/rccg-gcpcr-eng.php) in the Pesticides and Pest Management section of Health Canada's website.
