The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) lifts the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from  Lubuskie, Poland

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) issued the Decision No. 31938 dated 7 June 2017, lifting the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Lubuskie, Poland. The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) in the Decision No. 13374 dated 28 December 2016 (29/03/1438 AH) imposed a temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Lubuskie, Poland, due to the outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Lubuskie, Poland.
Based on OIE reports No. 23601 dated 20 April 2017, Lubuskie, Poland is free from HPAI. In compliance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, Chapter 10.4, the risk of importing poultry meat, eggs and their products from Lubuskie, Poland is negligible.
