The notified text establishes the maximum permissible levels for contaminants in food products for animal consumption and the corresponding mitigation measures. It seeks to ensure that persons engaged in the processing, manufacture, storage, distribution, import or export of such inputs take the necessary steps to minimize the risk of possible contamination during marketing.
