Notice of Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture, Decision No. 253/1291/1438 dated 6 August 2017 (14/11/1438H) entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of Equine" from Spain and The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 29, Vol. 30 dated 18 July 2017, which indicates that Equine Infections Anaemia (EIA) outbreak has reoccurred in Spain and The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of EIA disease into the country. Therefore, the import of equine from Spain and The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
