Notice of Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Decision No. 291/1291/1438 dated 30 July 2017 (7/11/1438AH) entitled "Temporary ban on the importation of livestock" originated from Myanmar and Colombia

Following the OIE reports, ref. No. 24092 dated 16 June 2017 and ref. No. 24136 dated 24 June 2017, which indicate that Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreaks have occurred in Colombia and Myanmar, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of FMD into the country. Therefore, the import of livestock from Colombia and Myanmar to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
