Notice of Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Decision No. 11/1291/1439 dated 2 October 2017 (12/1/1439 H) entitled "Temporary Ban on the Importation of Live Animals" originating from Nepal

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 34, Vol. 30 dated 24 August 2017, which indicates that a Foot and Mouth disease (FMD) outbreak has occurred in Nepal, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of FMD into the country. Therefore, the importation of live animals from Nepal to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
