Import Phytosanitary Requirements

According to Article no. (15) of Plant Quarantine Law No. 5 for the year 2003 of the GCC, all consignments of plants and plant products (including seeds mixtures for birds feed) exported/re-exported to the Kingdom of Bahrain should be accompanied with valid phytosanitary certificate issued by the National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) of the exporting/re-exporting country.
The phytosanitary certificates should be complied with the annexed model to the IPPC, and in compliance with the provisions of ISPM No. 7 and ISPM No. 12.
