Mexican Official Standard NOM-082-SAG-FITO/SSA1-2017. Maximum residue levels. Technical guidelines, authorization procedure and review

Please be advised that Mexican Official Standard NOM-082-SAG-FITO/SSA1-2017: "Maximum residue levels. Technical guidelines, authorization procedure and review", has been formally approved.
The Standard establishes technical guidelines and procedures for authorizing maximum residue levels (MRLs) for chemical pesticides for agricultural use, for registration and usage purposes.
The following will be exempt from compliance with this Standard: Pesticides used for ornamental plants, tobacco and soil (pre-sowing application only); those applied in empty storage areas, trucks and containers; and those for which the exemption is justified under applicable legal provisions.
Import MRLs are not covered by this Standard.
