Notice of Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Decision No. 293/1291/1439 dated 22 March 2018 (05/07/1439 H) entitled "Temporary Ban on the Importation of Live Birds, Hatching Eggs and One-day Old Chicks" originating from Mexico

Following the OIE report, ref. No. 11, Vol. 31 dated 15 March 2018, which indicates that an outbreak of High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) has occurred in Mexico, it is deemed necessary for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the entry of HPAI disease into the country. Therefore, the importation of live birds, hatching eggs and one-day old chicks from Mexico to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is temporarily suspended.
