Draft Amendments to the Ordinance on Classification and Treatment of Animal by-products and Processing Methods of the Product

These Amendments modify some rules in the Classification and Treatment of Animal by-products and Processing Methods of the Product in order to:
- improve the efficiency of the official control system;
- ensure an optimal allocation of official control resources assigned to border controls and facilitate the enforcement of agri-food chain legislation; and
- replace the current fragmented control frameworks with an integrated system of official controls at border control posts.
